Kids Praise! Children's Church will have a slightly different look for the Summer months. Our Bible lessons will be a "On the Trail" theme with cowboys, chuck wagons, and desert. Each Sunday we will share life applications for today's children from the Bible stories aboutMoses and the Israelite's exodus from Egypt to the Promised Land, Canaan. We could use craft-artist-decorator volunteers THIS week to help prepare backgrounds and scenery props for the first Sunday in June. See Penny for more information.
Also, we could use extra hands to help out on a regular, part-time or substitute basis in both the 9:00A.M. and 11:00A.M. services. Donations! Donations! Donations! We need your help collecting Easter Eggs, candy and door prizes for the Broadmoor Easter Egg Hunt and Block Party to be held on Saturday, April 11th. We anticipate a large turnout this year as there will be many forms or advertisements going out into the community. Baptism Sunday
March 15, 2009 - Nashville
If you know the Lord Jesus at you Savior and have never shared it publicly through Baptism or would like to renew your statement of faith to others, then you will have an opportunity to do so on Sunday, March 29th after the 11am service. If you have any questions as to what this means or entails, ask any of the pastors and they will be willing to answer all your questions. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan to be baptized.

Easter Egg and Block Party Team Meeting

Sexual Addiction / Anger Management Support Group

Are you struggling with a sexual addiction (pornography, homosexuality, etc.) or unforgiveness, bitterness or anger towards someone and you just cannot be freed from it? Support groups for this two areas will be held beginning Monday night, March 16th at 6:30pm. Bother Harvey will be leading the sexual addiction group and Stephenie Chumley will lead the anger management group. All are welcome.

Neighborhood Blitz

Our next Neighborhood Blitz will be held on Saturday, March 28th, from 10:00-11:00am. We will be passing out flyers to our community with information about our Church as well as the Easter Egg Hunt and Block Party. If you would like to be a part of this outreach, please sign up at one of the Welcome Stations in the front or the rear of the Church. Greetings Friends, What a distinctive privilege it is to accept the call of God that has brought us to Broadmoor Family Worship Center. Our family was directed to this city in October 08. I had never experienced the calling of God in such a forceful way. To say that I am unworthy of such a high calling is an understatement. My wife and I served as ministers of music in years past at this church. What a wonderful experience it was. Everyone was so kind. Back then our family consisted of Jennifer and I. Since then we have been blessed with two beautiful children, our little girl, Sydney, three years old and in charge and Danny, five years old, full of passion and energy.
As a representative of the Kingdom of God, I have been commissioned to take this city and that is exactly what we intend to do. There is an explosion of the love, virtue and nature of God that is sure to overtake the people of Nashville.

Upcoming Events!
January 2, 2009 - Nashville
* Beginning Sunday Feb 1st our Sunday Service format will change to a 9am service, 10am-10:45 Sunday School, 10:45 (Coffee Talk greet and meet) and 11am Service. The 9am and 11am services will be identical services with the same praise and worship and same message brought from Pastor Dan.
* Beginning Feb 4th Wednesday Night services will begin at 6:30pm instead of 7:00pm. Pastor will be starting a Bible Study series on "The Hearth of the Church."
* We will be planning a spring church picnic coming soon.
* Keep calendars open for Sunday February 15th we will have a Romeo Ministry Meeting Kickoff while celebrating Valentines Day. (Romeo ministry is a ministry helping to build Godly relationships. We open this to couples and singles alike and encourage our teens 16 and above to attend as well. Look in the upcoming bulletin for more info.)

New Year's Eve Prayer Service

This Wednesday evening the church will be open for prayer starting at 7:00 PM. Feel free to join us in prayer for our church and the wonderful new year the Lord has in store for us. Regular classes will resume Sunday January 4th.
