PREPARING THE INSTRUMENT OF GOD
Text: Isaiah 6:1-8
Preface: God has called and is calling certain people and groups of people for special service unto Him. There is a great work to take place in the kingdom of God and he is calling His Special Forces to arms. Before that can occur however, the final battles must be won over evil. God is now preparing His armies just as he prepared Isaiah for the calling he had for him, he is preparing people from this congregation and others to be "divine instruments of God."
A. PURGING
- Before God can confidently use someone to be His Hand, there must first come a purging of the world from that vessel
- Just as God has called Jerusalem to a Cleansing, He is also calling His People (Isaiah 1:25-26 KJV) (2 Timothy 2:19-21 KJV) .
- These are hard times for the vessel called to honor, but they are necessary for preparation of the instruments to be used by the hand of God!
B. PURIFYING
- This is the process where every corner and crevice is purified by the application of the sanctifying agent.
- PURIFICATION IS OFTEN PAINFUL - (Isaiah 6:6 KJV)
- It is the "Fire" of the Holy Ghost that Purifies and Sanctifies and Empowers the servant of God to perform the Elite Service for God. (2 Corinthians 4:7-10 KJV)
C. PRAISE
- True worship and True Praise comes when the vessel has been Washed, Scrubbed and Purified; Set Apart for the master’s use!
- Acknowledge The Authority Of God In Your Life
- Submit Your Will Wholly To Him
- Receive Transformation To Be Used as the Hand Of God. (Isaiah 6:1-8 KJV)
If you have been in the Fire, If you have been through the Flood, If you have Endured the Suffering, you may be ready for the Lord to Send You.

Where Are We?
Text: Romans 1:18-32
Preface: In this message, I believe God is calling us to examine ourselves and our walk with Him. To look at our lives and answer - Do I glorify Him as God? Do I think it worth while to hide His word in my heart? Does my life show those around me what a great and mighty God He is? Let us hear Him calling us to a higher place of praise and to a closer relationship with him.
A. What Happened to the People That Neither Glorified God or Gave Thanks to Him? Romans 1:21-24
- Their thinking became futile.
- Their hearts were darkened.
- Their wisdom was exchanged for foolishness.
- They exchanged God’s glory for images.
B. What Happened to Those That Did Not Think It Worthwhile to Retain the Knowledge of God? Romans 1:28-32
- God gave them over to a depraved mind.
- They were filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.
- Knowing that such wickedness deserved death, continued to do them and approved of those who practiced them.
C. What Happened to the People That Rebelled Against God? Psalms 107:10
- Some sat in darkness and deepest gloom. Prisoners suffering in iron chains.
- God subjected them to bitter labor with no one to help them.
- Some became fools and suffered affliction because of their sin.
- They drew near the gates of death.
What Must We Do If We Find Ourselves In Any of These Categories?
D. Come Back To Our First Love. Revelations 2:1-7
- Remember the height from which we have fallen.
- Repent!
- Do the things we did when we were first saved and delivered.
E. Cry Out for Him! Psalms 107:13
- Cry out to the Lord in your distress, and He will save you!
- He will send His word to heal you.
- He will rescue you.
F. Give Thanks Unto The Lord! Psalms 107:15,22
- Give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for men.
- Sacrifice thank offerings and tell of His works with songs of Joy!
- Praise Him for who He is! (2 Samuel 22:1-2, Isaiah 46:9)
- Be a worshiper that God is seeking! (John 4:23).
Some of the Reasons to Glorify, Honor and Praise Him!
- He is God alone (Isaiah 46:9).
- He is worthy (I Chronicles 16:25).
- That is why we were created (Isaiah 43:7).
Thoughts for the Week:
Is our faith being reported all over the world?
Do our daily lives show our faith and joy in the only True and Living God? (Romans 1:8)

Come Out Deeper
Text: Luke 5:1-6
- The Lord calls for us to Launch Out In the DEEP, in order to receive a greater yield for our efforts! He wants us to have more than a "Surface Relationship," rather a Deep Experiential Connection with Him. Launch out deeper in your association with God!
- (1 Corinthians 2:9-10) .... as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"-- but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
A. STEPPING UP
There is a call to all that will come after the Lord to Step UP into a higher relationship with Him. God is not satisfied with a Valley Type association with His people. It was on the Mountain that Moses received the Commandments of God(Exodus 19:20) and (Exodus 24:12)
- A1.) DIFFICULT, TIME-CONSUMING CLIMB - Moses did not have an elevator that carried him up to the top of the mountain. We do not arrive at that close place with God without sacrifice! (James 4:8-10 KJV)
B. STEPPING OUT
Not only must I Step UP, I must also Venture OUT of my Comfort Zone to know the true presence of God! (Matthew 14:25-29 KJV)
- Peter did not walk on the water Until he Came OUT of the Ship! The reason we don't experience more of the miracles of God is because we want to Stay In The Safety if the Ship!
- B1.) SOLD OUT SUBMISSION - To Walk Where Jesus Walks, requires you to Sell Out and take the first step Off The Boat. Dare to Walk Where Jesus Walks and Experience the DEEP things of God!
C. STEPPING IN
There is as point in your Christian Life where God calls you to Step IN to the place He has called you. There are many things we Don't Know about God in our life. What we Do Know is that we can Trust Him!
- C1.) TO GO DEEP WITH GOD REQUIRES GIVING UP THE KNOWN-
- When God called Noah to build the ark, "it had never flooded", (Genesis 7:4,7) "NOAH WENT IN"
Summary: In order for us to receive the full benefit of God’s promise, requires that we Believe What He Says and Act on Faith that He will keep His promise even when we don't see rain!!
- Those who are willing to Go into the Deep with Him, will experience the Victory Of God!
- (Romans 8:28, 35, 37)
- (Leviticus 23:10 KJV) When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, (you) shall reap the harvest thereof,

Storming Jericho
Text: Joshua 6:15-20 KJV
Preface: WHY JERICHO? Jericho was located 825 ft below the level of the Mediterranean. It had a tropical climate where palms, sycamore, balsams and henna flourished. It was basically a paradise, a prosperous area. But, perhaps because of it’s affluence and prosperity, it was also an area of sinfulness and prideful living. And it stood between the Israelites and the Promised Land.
WHY MUST JERICHO BE TOTALLY DESTROYED?
A. THEY HAD A SELF-INDULGENT LIFESTYLE.
- See (Josh 6:17-18)
- Joshua warned Israel not to take of the riches of Jericho because it would lead to their destruction also. There is danger in Gluttony of things and possessions. (Luke 21:34)
- People who live in self-indulgence will carry themselves to destruction. Jericho was doomed.
B. THEIR CONFIDENCE WAS IN THEIR OWN DEFENSES
- They had a city that was well fortified and commanded the valley of the lower Jordan and the passes into the western mountains.
- The people of Jericho felt SAFE in their luxurious homes within the walls of the city. (Psalm 30:6)
- BEWARE when you become overconfident in yourself! For in the time you think you have it made, you will find out there is a greater power. (Proverbs 16:18 KJV)
C. THEY HAD IGNORED GOD
- Jericho was a city of sin, full of sinful pleasures and debauchery. They were a people that enjoyed all that could be had according to their imagination. (Romans 1:22-24,28)
- There is a danger to forget God and to turn to your own prosperity, because you will eventually Fall in Destruction!
SO, HOW DID ISRAEL OVERCOME THEM?
D. ISRAEL REPENTED OF THEIR SIN AND PURIFIED THEMSELVES
- All but Joshua and Caleb whom had originally come out of Egypt, were dead.
- All men been born during the wilderness journey had recently been circumcised per God’s command. This obedience prepared them to believe God for the victory!
- While circumcision is a physical act of purification, the Israelites were purified more by their faith and obedience to the command of God. (Romans 2:13 NRSV)
E. ISRAEL PRAYED AND HEARD FROM GOD
- When we are in trouble, when we need direction, when we need assurance, we should PRAY .
- We are too quick to Act without Waiting On or Obeying the plan of God. If we want to win we must know our place in the Plan of the Master Planner!
- (James 1:5), (Jeremiah 29:12-13).
F. ISRAEL TRUSTED GOD AND OBEYED THE PLAN
- The ultimate success of Israel in overcoming Jericho was the fact they trusted God enough to DO what He had Told them.
- Sometimes what God says to do doesn't make sense!! (1 Corinthians 2:14 NIV); (Isaiah 55:8-11)
ARE You ready to trust God? Are you ready to see if He will do what he says?
(Malachi 3:10) ... prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
IF SO, STORM THE JERICHO OF YOUR LIFE AND OVERCOME THE ENEMY OF YOUR SOUL!

Fresh Anointing
Text: Isaiah 43:18-19, Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
The Lord was speaking to Israel of the Work He planned to do in them that in comparison to what had been done in the past would be New, More Exciting, Better, Greater and More Fulfilling!
A. GET IN POSITION.
- THE DESIRE: Desire to be in the proper position to receive the Immersion of His Holy Spirit!
- (John 4:5-26) Desire the Living Water
- (Matthew 5:6) When we strongly desire the presence of God, we start to get in the proper position to Receive from Him the outpouring of His Holy Spirit to be used for Service unto Him!.
- THE ALIGNMENT "Get Under the Spout, Where the Glory Comes Out."
- It is time for us to get in Line with the Spirit of God, to Know His Presence, To Know His Mind, To Know His Direction and to Follow His Steps!
B. Be Open to the Change!
For God to do a New Thing, means things are not the same as before!
- THERE MUST BE A DIFFERENCE! - (Isaiah 43:19, 21 ) Behold, I will do a new thing …What God intends to do is Totally New! We have never lived in these times before! There is a Fresh Anointing for those who are Hungry for souls to be saved and changed!
- The people God is going to use are those that are "Praising Him."
C. Fresh New Anointing of the Harvest
We have been in the mode of continuous sowing the seed and gathering of fruit as a few get ripe and are brought in to the House of God. BUT NOW IT IS TIME TO BRING IN THE HARVEST!
- ANOINT ME TO BE A GATHERER!
- Are you Hungry for the Anointing of God for the Harvest?
- Are you Thirsty to be Used of God in the Gathering of Souls?
- Are you Needy and Desperate for More of Him?
-
- FRESH ANOINTING - Are you ready for God to do a new Thing In YOU?

RECOVERING STOLEN PROPERTIES
Text: Luke 4:18-19 KJV
Preface:- Have you ever been robbed or stolen from? Have you been held for ransom or been blackmailed by someone who knew about a sin in your past? Have you been violated in some way?
- Scripture Text: Luke 4:18-19 KJV
- In effect Jesus said "I am come to set you free!"
FREE FROM WHAT?
A. SATAN IS A LIAR AND A THIEF & HAS DECEIVED & ROBBED YOU!
(John 8:44 KJV) He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it
- He has lied to you about the importance of salvation
- He told You Church Is Not Necessary.
- He has told you those things which are lustful, and harmful to your testimony and your body are acceptable, normal and permissible.
MORE LIES
- He has told you, It is all right to tell others about the sins and weaknesses of your brother and sister in Christ;
- He has told you "It is alright to spend your tithe money on bills,
- He has told you God is not concerned with sexual things."
B. YOU HAVE BEEN SATAN’S VICTIM
Some of the things Satan may have Stolen from you:
- Your JOY,
- Your INNOCENCE,
- Your VICTORY,
- Your FINANCES,
- Your FAMILY,
- Your RESPECT & INTEGRITY.
- ROBBED you of your HEALTH,
- Your MARRIAGE,
- Your JOB,
- Your HOME!
C. LET THE VICTIM BECOME VICTOR!
- Jesus said, (John 10:10 KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- Take Back Your Joy of Salvation; Take Back Your Family; Love, Marriage, Self Respect and Integrity; Take Back Your Finances; Peace; Health.
- (1 John 4:4 KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world!
- (1 John 5:4 KJV) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
- (Galatians 5:1 KJV) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
