PRAYER MINISTRY
|
|
Broadmoor has both formal and informal prayer ministries. Broadmoor is a Bible believing church. God said in His Word that His house shall be a house of prayer. If God Himself said that His house should be a house of prayer, then praying is what Broadmoor is all about.
It really doesn't matter what the issue is, large or small, the Broadmoor Staff will take the time to pray over the needs of God's children. Every Sunday there is a new prayer list placed in the church bulletin, listing the needs that have come to us during that past week. The Senior Pastor, along with the entire congregation, prays for those needs.
During every Sunday morning Worship Service, Sunday evening Worship Service, and Wednesday night Family Training Hour, time is set aside to pray over the needs that are brought to the attention of the church, the Senior Pastor and his staff. We pray for those on our Special Prayer List including our local, state, national, and world leaders; our Church, it's leaders, workers, and congregational needs; and those on our weekly Prayer List, those whose names are in our In Need of Salvation box, those whose names have been called, those who are the object of unspoken Prayer Requests, and the Prayer Requests that come to us via the Internet. Our weekly Prayer List is given to everyone in our Sunday Bulletin and it is also displayed upon the viewing screen during our Sunday morning and evening Worship Services as we pray for those needs and those in need. Each Prayer Request that comes to us by voice, note, uplifted hand, the Internet, telephone, or by whatever means, is deemed important and is prayed for in that manner.
Prayer Evangelism 2004 ushered in 40 days of prayer and fasting for the church.
Broadmoor's Staff and members firmly believe that God not only hears every prayer, but also answers those prayers that are brought before Him in a sincere attitude of worship and praise. All things are possible through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Pastoral Care Staff within the church daily visit shut-in's and those individuals who are unable to attend church on a regular basis. Our Pastoral Care staff also visits and prays with church members and their families who are hospitalized in and around the Nashville area.
Broadmoor Family Worship Center Church of God firmly believes what James 5:14-15 says in God's Word. We will anoint with oil, we will pray, and we believe God will raise up the sick. Send us your Prayer Request.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)
Remember in Prayer
Remember to pray for those on our prayer list, for those that are lost in our city, and for our country. The need is great but we serve God who is greater. In Philippians 4:13 we learn: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
