Senior Pastor Pastor Daniel Walker came to know the Lord and began serving Him in 1988. He started ministry working with youth, music and nursing home ministries. At the time he was attending Western Carolina University and was in his 5th year of a music education degree with an emphasis in vocal performance. While at Western he focused on operatic performance as well as theater arts. While he continues to have a passion for these areas He strongly felt the call of God on His life to be a full time pastor. In 1993 he left Western Carolina and began Theological studies at Lee University. While at Lee he was heavily involved in music ministry traveling with the Lee Singers, directing two small ensembles including Chosen and Second Edition. In the off season he did personal music and evangelism ministry. He graduated in 1995 with a BS in Bible and Theology and then continued his education at the Church of God School of Theology in which he graduated in 1999 with a double emphasis degree with a Masters in Counseling and a Masters of Divinity. Currently he is in his second year of a Doctorate of Ministries program focusing on Administration and Family studies. Through the years he has been in full time ministry as music minister, youth minister and associate minister at various churches. In 2003 he accepted his first Senior Pastor position in Jasper, TN at New Beginnings Church. God’s hand was evidenced through his ministry as the church grew from 13 people the first Sunday to an average of 350 per week. Pastor Dan’s mission is to tell as many people about the Lord as God will allow. His passion for the Lord and love for people are unmistakable and contagious. He is excited about the vision God is giving him for Broadmoor and the Nashville area.  Jennifer Walker and Pastor Dan Jennifer Walker was raised in a Christian home and she gave her heart to the Lord at a very young age. Through her child hood and teenage years she was actively involved in multiple ministries including music, theater, puppet and dance. She began attending Lee University in 1993 where she met Dan. They traveled together in the Lee Singers and then just before graduating began dating. Jennifer graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Bible. Dan and Jennifer were married in 1998 and Jennifer began her graduate studies in 1999 at Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2001 she graduated with a M.S. in Medical Science with an emphasis in Physician Assistant practice. She is a full time physician assistant currently working in the Children’s Emergency Room.  She is also actively involved in ministry at the church where she has served wearing multiple hats including music minister, Sunday School teacher and Ladies’ Ministry director. Although she enjoys her career and involvement in the church, she is most blessed to be mom to Danny (5) and Sydney (3). Teaching them to love the Lord and watching them grow is one of the greatest pleasures of life. Jennifer’s compassion for people is exhibited through her caring for others and showing the Love of Christ through kindness and loving the unloveable.
